Horror Movies

Have you always wondered why horror movies are so pathetic?

Well, let's see:
-The people never close their doors, and the killer always gets throught the back door
-When someone's in the shower, they are sure to get killed
-The blond is always the one who is the main character
-She always has a boyfriend who has some connection with the killer
-Parents are always bad people
-The main character's friends die one by one
-They never end up killing the killer because sequel over sequels are re-made
-When there's a freaking demon in your room, you always get the camera to film it without even turning on the light
-THE BEDROOM DOOR IS FREAKING OPEN
-Never, EVER look into your pill cabinet, the freaking killer is RIGHT BEHIND YOU!

And there's many more I bet. The thing is that there is nothing original about horror movies except the killer who has been written up in the 90's or late 80's. There's no more inspiration. People are re-making horror movies because the technology is better. BUT GUESS WHAT?! The older versions are WAY better than the new ones, becuase the new one's are always exaggerated. It's sad really.

So next time you watch a horror movie, don't forget to laugh at the patheticness of it ;)

Time dun-Dun-DUNN

It's funny when you think of it that we are all following some random numbers on the clock. That lead to days, which lead to months, and then years.

TIME is something human beings created. It was not intended to be classified. It was just meant to be there.

Oh but no.

Because we are so superior and AWESOME (-.-") we have to classify the way the sun moves around the planet. Categorizing it in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, centuries, millenia.

YAY US!

Have you ever wondered why every 4 FREAKING YEARS we have an extra day during the month of February? The reason is that technically a year isn't a whole number. Instead of 365 days... it's actually 365.25 DAYS!! :O
Shocking, isn't it?
And so, we only add that number every four years and end up making up an extra day.

Time... is... something that runs in a straight line. At least that's what scientists think. So imagine if there actually were TIME TRAVELERS! Imagine the look on sciencetists faces. THEY WERE WRONG!

Is time really a starightforward line? Or is it something that runs in parallel or PERPENICULARLY to another timeline?

This world of ours is very... how should I put it... MIND BOGGLING?
Indeed.

Into The Future~

Since the thousands of years we, human beings, have lived (since they started counting the years) they have come upon major discoveries and life threatening events.

Examples of Major Discoveries:
-Blah Blah Blah discovering America (I think we all know the answer)
-The discovery of the mind
-The way dreams are classified
-Cures for diseases like leukemia and even the common cold
-The fact that dinosaurs once ruled the Earth
-Usage of fossil fuels
-Technology
-GOOGLE!!
-Reasoning behind natural disasters
etc.

Examples of Life Threatening Events:
-Tsunamis
-Ice Age
-Earthquakes
-Landslides
-Plagues
-Floods
-Massacres
-Intended accidents (yes, yes, 9-11 *rolls eyes*)
-Wars

We are currently in the year 2010 (as humans like to call it DUN DUN DUNNN). People are wondering "Where's my jetpack?" or "Where are those floating cars from The Fifth Element?" Well, you should first learn to appreciate the feats that humankind has done in recent years. Something new is discovered at least every year. Sooner or later though, we will deplete this planet of its resources... so really... does it matter where your jetpack is if your own planet is dying? I think not.

At least concentrate of the matters at hand. We should donate resources to the countries in most need of them. We take too many things for granted (no kidding). So who exactly should we be giving to? The people of Africa, the poor of Asia, the homeless of THE WORLD.

Are we doing good by only thinking ME? No. You should be thinking WE, for we are all the same and we share the same planet.
